Halloween is over, but I just came across this video and had to post it! Which trick would you like to teach your dog? I bet it isn't the "pee-on-your-towel" trick!
I got to spend last weekend at an amazing conference all about clicker training, called ClickerExpo! One of the presenters showed this amazing video of what one person taught her mice to do using a clicker. If you have a mouse, and want to try clicker training yours, she has instructional videos on her page as well. If you give it a shot, let us know how it goes on our comments below. Chickens are really good at telling the difference between two similar objects. You'll be able to tell when you watch this video of a chicken pecking only the hexagon she was trained to touch. Lots of dog trainers go to "Chicken Camp" because learning how to clicker train a chicken can teach us a lot about how to train a dog. I tried chicken training last year, and it was a lot harder than I thought it would be. Here's what someone taught their chicken to do for camp graduation (the trainer is the woman standing at the back side of the table): |
